Indian Radiological & Imaging Association of Karnataka state chapter is a registered organization of Radiologists.

Objectives of the association are academic enhancement, research support, education to residents and radiologists, welfare of its members, and supporting societal needs and concerns.

IR & IA is promoting the study and practice of diagnostic radiological and imaging modalities including X-ray, Ultrasound, C.T., M.R.I., Interventional Radiology, and other related subspecialties/super-specialties.

IRIA actively holds periodical meetings, CME programmes, clinical webinars, and conferences on related sub-specialties/super-specialties at various subchapters and institutions, both offline and online.

Message from the President

Dear all,

Karnataka state chapter of Indian Radiological & Imaging Association is a registered voluntary organisation of Radiologists governed by the Indian Radiological & Imaging Association.

With permanent life members of more than 1300 and over 1000 provisional members, the Karnataka chapter of IRIA is one of the largest state chapters in India. The State Chapter is dedicated and committed to organizing academic programs – CMEs, conferences, workshops – for radiologists and residents. It also focuses on welfare programs for radiologists and the underprivileged.

Committed to saving the girl child through the Raksha program, the chapter is also engaged in education, health screening, and charity work via the Samrakshan program. It promotes preventive radiology and has launched a daily teaching initiative under the Karnataka Radiology Education Program (KREP). Outreach efforts include “Namma Nade Jille Kade” to connect with all subchapters and remote areas.

Planned curricular, co-curricular, and extracurricular activities include promoting sports, cultural, and literary pursuits among our members.

The chapter also guides members on PCPNDT and AERB guidelines and introduces stress management and BLS training.
