Indian Radiological & Imaging Association of Karnataka state chapter is a registered organization of Radiologists.

Objectives of the association are academic enhancement, research support, education to residents and radiologists, welfare of its members, and supporting societal needs and concerns.

IR & IA is promoting the study and practice of diagnostic radiological and imaging modalities including X-ray, Ultrasound, C.T., M.R.I., Interventional Radiology, and other related subspecialties/super-specialties.

IRIA actively holds periodical meetings, CME programmes, clinical webinars, and conferences on related sub-specialties/super-specialties at various subchapters and institutions, both offline and online.

Message from the President

Dear Colleagues,

It is a privilege and honour to serve as the President of the IRIA Karnataka Chapter. Our association has consistently stood for academic excellence, professional integrity, and the collective growth of radiologists across the state. As we move forward this year, our focus will be on strengthening academics, fostering collaboration, and supporting our members at every stage of their professional journey.

Radiology is evolving rapidly with advances across various branches of radiology subspecialties. It is essential that we remain updated and translate these developments into better patient care. We plan to conduct high-quality CMEs, subspecialty updates, fetal imaging course and focused masterclasses, to enhance learning and clinical practice.

We remain committed to upholding ethical practice, ensuring adherence to regulatory guidelines, and advocating for the welfare of radiologists. Encouraging participation from residents, young radiologists, and senior members alike will be a key priority. Together, we can build a vibrant academic environment and a supportive professional network across Karnataka.

We will strengthen initiatives such as the Shakthi and Raksha programs will continue to promote awareness, safety, and professional wellbeing within our community.With support of our key members we have planned KRPL (Karnataka Radiology Premier League) as a unique platform that fosters camaraderie, teamwork, and wellness among radiologists, bringing our fraternity together beyond academics.

I invite all members, HODs to actively engage with IRIA activities and contribute their ideas and energy. With collective effort and shared vision, we can make this year meaningful and impactful for our fraternity.
